At padho.ai, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and mobile app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Personal Information

• Name and email address
• Phone number
• Educational institution and grade level
• Any other profile information you provide

Usage Information

• Questions you ask and interactions with our platform and AI
• Learning progress and performance data
• Device and browser information
• IP address and approximate location information, such as the city you provide

Learning Content and Safety Reports

• Audio and transcripts when you use voice features, with microphone access subject to your device permission
• Study material you upload, such as documents and images, and content generated during your learning sessions
• When you report AI-generated content: the selected content, its lesson or conversation context, your account identifier, and any details you choose to add

Notifications

We associate app-installation identifiers with your Padho account and store notification permission, preferences, reminder settings, and delivery/read status. When you enable push notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver learning updates, study reminders and app announcements to your device.

Installation records may be registered before you enable push notifications; permission to display notifications is separate from account and installation data collection.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve our educational services
• Personalize your learning experience
• Communicate with you about updates and features
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance our platform
• Ensure the security and integrity of our services
• Review reported AI-generated content and improve content safety
• Process account and data deletion requests

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service providers who assist in operating our platform, including hosting, AI, and voice-processing providers that process content needed to deliver the features you use
• Analytics partners to improve our services
• Legal authorities when required by law

Our notification delivery provider is Google Firebase Cloud Messaging.

5. Data Security

We take measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and download your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Opt-out of marketing communications
• Request deletion of your account and associated data as described below

You can control notifications in Padho and Android settings. Study reminders are off until you enable them. Turning off notifications does not by itself delete your Padho account or associated records.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion in the padho.ai app through Profile → Delete account and data, or on our account deletion page. The web page does not require installing the app. Sign in to verify which account you want to delete.

Your Padho account and associated data held by Padho across all devices will be deleted within 90 days of your request. Within that same period, we will also request deletion of the Firebase installation identifiers used for notification delivery. Firebase may take up to a further 180 days after that deletion request to remove those identifiers from its live and backup systems—up to 270 days from your original request in total for those identifiers. Your account stays available until deletion starts. Submitting a request does not mean that deletion has already been completed.

The request covers your account information and associated personal data, including learning activity, uploaded material, and reports you submitted. Padho-owned lesson content may remain available, but personal data linked to your account is still covered by your deletion request.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage, and deliver personalized content. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our platform.
